Design a movie theater with this 5th-grade decimal enrichment project. Students will solve adding and subtracting decimal word problems. They will read, write, compare, and round decimals to thousandths. Some practice and application pages involve multiplying and dividing decimals, as well as working with powers of 10. This resource is great for 5th-grade teachers who want to engage early finishers, challenge gifted and talented students independently, or complete a whole-class project at the end of a math unit about decimals and place value.
