Help your preschool students transition to different stations with these center rotation signs and tickets! I designed this transition system when I realized my class spent more time moving from one table to the next than they spent engaged in the center activities! It is now my favorite procedure in the classroom! Students follow their transition ticket to the correct table and double our instructional time. They take pride in their tickets and parents love this added responsibility and organization.
How do these Station Transition Tickets work?
I simply place colored cups around the room and students have individualized tickets that show them how to rotate through each station. I set a timer and when it rings, students grab their tickets out of the cups and move to the next colored cup on the list. It is so easy and saves tons of time! This system works great for general and special education.

⭐️ “These transition tickets are AMAZING! I’ve been able to teach so much more in my small groups because students quickly rotate in between the centers.”
Laminate the tickets so you can cross out completed stations with a dry-erase marker. This added support can help students with special needs. My preschoolers have learned to follow their rotation cards independently and no longer wander about in confusion!
