✋ How do you play each coping strategies game?
- Toolbox Mystery Game - Object: Earn the most points. Game Play: Split players into two teams. Team 1 rolls the die and moves to a square. They pick up a card and determine the mystery tool. If they can justify their answer, they get to keep the card. All points are added after the first team crosses the finish line.
- Note - Multiple tools could be used to help the student on the scenario cards. The teacher can determine whether or not the team’s description makes sense and they can keep the card.
- Toolbox Bingo - Object: Be the first to cover your board. Game Play: The teacher will call a tool name, feeling, or scenario. Students who have that object on their board will cover it. Play a variety of rounds - make a row, cover the entire board, cover the four corners, etc.
- Tip - Slide the bingo cards inside a page protector so students can mark their boards with a dry-erase marker.
✋ What size bulletin board do I need?
- Every page prints on 8.5" by 11" copy paper and can be cut and assembled together. Use flexibility when hanging the tools to fit on several sizes of bulletin boards. The toolbox poster has a finished size of approximately 34” wide by 30” tall.
