Turn Fractions & Decimals into a Fun Math Challenge with this Free Card Game! Make learning fractions and decimals engaging with this interactive card game designed for 4th and 5th graders! How to Play:

✔️ Set-Up:

  • Copy the task cards and fraction cards on different colors of paper. (Make at least two sets to create larger draw piles).
  • Pair students to play together.
  • Place both stacks of cards face down in the center.

✔️ Game Play:

  • Student A draws a task card and flips over the required number of fraction cards.
  • Student A solves the problem in the space on the recording sheet.
  • Student B checks their work by solving the same problem on a whiteboard or waits for their turn.
  • When a student solves a problem correctly, they record their points on the scoresheet.
  • Players continue taking turns for a set amount of time.
