- In the Oregon Trail lesson, students will research facts about pioneers to complete a lapbook (file folder with cut-outs attached). They will also play an Oregon Trail Simulation activity with the whole class. Students are divided into teams, pack an imaginary wagon, and make decisions along the trail. They also earn and lose points on "fate" slides! All you need to play is access to PowerPoint, dice, and coins.

- Invite students to show what they have learned about Idaho History through a differentiated assessment. Customize the learning environment for gifted learners and students who need additional support.
